GBNA of Greater Washington, DC, Area will conduct a campaign to Eliminate Health Disparities in Chronic Renal Disease in the greater Washington, DC, Area. During the month of March which has been designated as National Kidney month, BNA will urge area ministers to discuss chronic kidney disease & kidney failure from the pulpit using fact sheet provided by BNA. Copies of fact sheet will also be distributed to church members. |

2009 Annual Salute to the Black Nurse of the Year and Scholarship Awards Luncheon, March 1, 2009, 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Martin's Crosswinds, 7400 Greenway Center Drive, Greenbelt MD, 20770. Deadline for the 2009 Nurse of the Year Award is October 15th. Tickets are available for $50.00 and include the cost of continuing nursing education credits (1.5 contact hours).
